Key responsibilities
- In charge of the implementation of the product matrix, range development, buying calendar and strategizing the critical path for FMCG and Personalcare products
- In charge of developing enhanced Sales-Through Report to highlight reasons of performance/non-performance and allowing better product grouping and recommendation for products to be repeated based on trend analysis
- Lead the Merchandise Team to identify and implement best practices (Channel profiling matrix/product life cycle management based on product matrix) in view of increasing GP and ROI
- Negotiation of product pricing based on the retail price strategy with the Merchandise Team to identify gaps and needs in the pricing strategy
- Review and approval of all product buys, markdown and promotional activity
- Reviewing current processes and implementation of structures and processes to ensure efficient working
- Work closely with the Marketing team to feedback on market needs and product performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Economics, Applied Mathematics or its equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal, planning and organizational skills to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- 3+ years of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word)
- 3+ years of proficiency in eCommerce business will be an added advantage
- Strong understanding of market competition
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
