OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a Merchandiser (Perfume/Cosmetic/Skin Care) who can be the expert of the market and drive net sales growth to join our Commercial team and help building up our effective brand.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Oversee merchandising and digital presentation of assigned category / brands
• Work with Category Manager to expand product assortments, optimize sales and to ensure that merchandise forecasting is in line with monthly target.
• Monitor and review sale performance on a daily basis, and be able to initiate plans to achieve sale target in each category/brand.
• To review and update the assortment list and provide weekly new product batch submission.
• Perform competitive research and market analysis of responsible brands/products; to come up with informative suggestions and recommendation plans to improve sales.
• To coordinate on product placement planning and banners with suppliers and marketing team.
• Work closely with the Marketing department to implement effective campaign planning and to ensure optimal placement and promotion; while retaining target margin.
• Work in close partnership with Operation and Supply Chain to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to identify product trends using reports generated by company tools and to provide suggestions for improvement.
• Primary point of contact between suppliers and internal cross-functional team. Assist with all related merchandising activities to provide seamless on-site customer experience and increase conversion rate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Economics, Applied Mathematics or its equivalent
• Excellent interpersonal, planning and organizational skills to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• 1-2 years of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word)
• 1-2 years of proficiency in eCommerce business will be an added advantage
• Strong understanding of market competition
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
